The Impact you will have in this role: 

The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) role encompasses automation development and execution, functional, and non-functional testing. The SDET role specializes in the design, development, execution, and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. Partners with team members to understand software requirements and execute automated tests that validate the functionality while considering privacy and security requirements

Your Primary Responsibilities: 

- Work effectively within different software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Collect business requirements to inform design of automated tests
- Apply code patterns and design techniques to ensure performance requirements are met
- Coordinate with senior team members to implement solutions using secure coding best practices
- Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
- Maintain test cases /involve in automation approach with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback
- Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
- Demonstrate competency in one or more programming languages
- Follow continuous integration and continuous testing practices.
- Partner with team members to understand software requirements and execute automated tests that validate the functionality
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on development, testing, troubleshooting, and improve overall software quality
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications: 

- 1 to 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success: 

- Hands-on experience in Selenium
- Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins
- Experience or exposure to AWS cloud platform.
- Knowledge of ALM tools
- Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Good understanding of SQL for data validation.
- Exposure to one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Angular.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination.
- Basic understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing
