We are seeking a highly skilled Technologist, ASIC Development Engineering to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and validating cutting-edge Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) for next-generation storage products. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our storage controllers throughout the development lifecycle.

• Lead the validation of ASICs for storage controllers in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases
• Develop and implement comprehensive validation plans for new ASIC designs
• Create and maintain validation firmware using C/C++ for various environments, including FPGA and simulators
• Perform SOC bring-up, feature validation, and debugging of ASICs and storage drives
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes of issues in tests or products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ASICs into storage products
• Participate in customer meetings to understand validation strategies and requirements
• Develop and execute test cases based on customer scenarios and product specifications
• Provide technical support for production and assist in resolving field issues
• Generate and present validation status reports to project and program managers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies

• BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 12-17 years of experience in ASIC validation and debugging
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems and Python for test automation
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols, including eMMC, USB, PCIe, and NVMe
• Expertise in electrical validation of storage protocols
• Hands-on experience with lab debugging tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Demonstrated ability in failure analysis and root cause identification
• Experience in test application development and performance measurement tools
• Solid understanding of ASIC design principles and digital logic design
• Familiarity with FPGA development and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Experience with SSD firmware development and validation is a plus
• Knowledge of compliance and interoperability procedures for storage products
• Proven track record of working on complex ASIC projects from conception to production
