SAP ABAP Consultant (Contractor)
to join our
team.
Job Description

• We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP ECC and HANA environments support our SAP-to-Incorta report migration initiative.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in RICEFW objects and SAP data models along with a solid understanding of business processes and functional modules.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Optimize existing ABAP code and queries for performance tuning.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze existing SAP ECC and HANA-based reports (ALV, classical, and custom) to identify data sources, logic, and dependencies.
• Work on interfaces and data migration using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Support unit testing, data validation, and reconciliation between SAP and Incorta environments.
• Document all developments, enhancements, and configurations following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation of data extraction logic, dependencies, and reusable components and knowledge sharing sessions.

Skills & Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development across SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong experience with: Reports (Classical, ALV, Interactive & Custom), Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, BAPI, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements, IDOCs, Interfaces, and Data Dictionary
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration and OData services (preferred).
• Familiarity with transport management, version control, and debugging tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or conversion projects.
• Basic understanding of SAP functional modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, or PP.
• Collaborate with Incorta, SAP functional, and data integration teams to map SAP data structures (tables, joins, logic) to Incorta schemas.
• Experience in performance tuning and code optimization for HANA.
• SAP Certification in ABAP or HANA (optional but advantageous).
