core product – the Android app.

We're looking for a
passionate Android Developer
to join as an
equity-based founding team member
. This is not a salary role – it's an
ownership opportunity
. You'll take the lead in building our Android application from scratch and guide 3 interns who will support you in modular development.

What You'll Do:

  • Architect and build the LettrBlack Android app (Kotlin / Jetpack Compose / Firebase)
  • Lead a small team of 3 interns (assign modules, review code, mentor)
  • Implement core features: study groups, leaderboards, LettrPlay games, LetterReels video feed, and AI chatbot
  • Collaborate with the founder & web team to align app with product vision
  • Drive development towards a
    3-month MVP launch

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in
    Android development
    (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Firebase)
  • Ability to
    take ownership
    and work independently
  • Leadership skills to
    mentor interns
    and manage modules
  • Excited by
    startups, equity roles, and building from scratch
  • Passion for
    EdTech, gamification, or learning platforms
    is a plus
