Job Title: Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to support our brand's online presence across Instagram and LinkedIn. This role will also involve managing barter/UGC collaborations, assisting with content writing, and contributing to overall social media strategy. If you have a passion for storytelling, digital trends, and community building, we'd love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities:

Instagram Management

  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling Instagram posts, reels, and stories
  • Research trends, audio, and content formats relevant to the brand
  • Engage with followers through comments, DMs, and community interactions
  • Track and report Instagram analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth)

Barter & UGC (User-Generated Content) Collaborations

  • Identify and shortlist potential creators for barter/UGC partnerships
  • Reach out, coordinate deliverables, and maintain communication with creators
  • Organize product dispatch and track collaboration timelines
  • Review UGC content for brand alignment before publishing
  • Maintain a database of collaborations and performance metrics

LinkedIn Marketing

  • Draft and schedule LinkedIn posts for brand and leadership profiles
  • Assist in building thought-leadership content
  • Monitor LinkedIn engagement and respond to audience interactions
  • Research industry trends for professional content angles

Content Writing

  • Write captions, scripts, and short-form content for social media
  • Assist with blogs, newsletters, or website content as needed
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure consistency in tone and quality
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, posts, and brand storytelling

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn content styles
  • Basic knowledge of influencer/UGC collaborations and social media outreach
  • Good writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools is a plus
  • Prior internship or college projects in marketing is an advantage (not mandatory)
