Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role involves leading infrastructure automation, driving cloud adoption strategies, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Kafka, Hazelcast, ELK, Prometheus, and strong networking skills.
Cloud & Kubernetes Management:
- Manage and resolve issues on Kubernetes clusters on AWS, Vanilla Kubernetes.
- Optimize performance in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Help in sizing of cluster for the Hive.
- Help team in setting up Scaling using HPA/KEDA
- Monitoring, Observability & Security:
- Integrate with enterprise-grade monitoring using Prometheus, ELK, and custom alerting solutions.
- Infrastructure Architecture & Automation:
- Oversee the deployment of Kafka, Hazelcast, and ELK on cloud and on-prem environments.
- Leadership & Strategic Initiatives:
- Drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead data canter migration and hybrid cloud adoption strategies.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
Processes
Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood.
Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution into Solution Design and Implementation methodologies.
Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC,
Ensure adherence to standardized cloud and infra structure deployment processes, optimizing automation, security and scalability.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Business
- Interfacing with business stakeholders for requirements management, prioritisation and documentation
- Translate Product and business requirements into Solution Design and Technical Design artifacts.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

- Serve as a Director of the Board
- Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

- Security – Vulnerability and Patch Management, Network segmentation, IDS and IPS
Qualifications
- Education BE / MCA / M.Sc in computer science
- Certifications Aws solutions architect, ckad/cka, or azure certifications preferred
