Job Title: API Integration Test Engineer

Experience Required:

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled API Integration Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for REST and SOAP APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API testing, validation, and troubleshooting integrations across complex systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:Perform API integration testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for APIs.
  • Validate data exchange, request/response structures, and integration logic between systems.
  • Use tools such as Postman, Swagger, or ReadyAPI for API validation and automation.
  • Work closely with developers to debug issues and ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing coverage and API quality.
  • Required Skills & Experience:Hands-on experience in API Integration Testing (REST, SOAP).
  • Strong knowledge of Postman, Swagger, JMeter, or ReadyAPI.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Familiarity with automation scripting using Java, Python, or similar languages (added advantage).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
  • Good analytical and debugging skills.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Compensation:2–3 Years: Up to ₹6 LPA
  • 3–5 Years: Up to ₹8 LPA
