Job Description

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Content Creator / Video Editor to produce high-quality video content similar in style to the sample provided. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, pacing, and the ability to translate ideas into engaging video formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and deliver video content from concept through completion in a style similar to the sample video.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animated text, transitions, visual effects, and other dynamic elements to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Sync visuals creatively with sound effects, voiceovers or music.
  • Collaborate with content writers / script developers to plan the story, storyboard, pacing, visual flow, and client needs.
  • Produce various formats (e.g. social media reels, YouTube videos, shorter promos, intros/outros).
  • Optimize video content for different platforms (aspect ratios, bitrate, file formats).
  • Ensure brand consistency (look, colour scheme, fonts, style) across all video assets.
  • Manage timelines, revisions, feedback loops, actively maintain version control of video projects.
  • Stay updated on video production trends, motion graphics tools, animation styles, software updates.

Required / Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (2 years) as a Video Editor, Motion Graphics designer, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating videos with dynamic motion graphics, animated text, transitions, promotional style, or similar to sample.
  • Proficiency in video editing software:
    Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro
    , or similar.
  • Expertise in motion graphics / animation tools:
    After Effects
    ,
    Cinema 4D
    or similar.
  • Sound editing & design skills: be able to integrate music, voiceovers, sound effects well.
  • Good sense of visual design: composition, typography, colour theory.
  • Strong sense of storytelling, timing, pacing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with handling feedback, revisions, and making creative decisions.
  • Basic understanding of video compression, codecs, formats for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film / Multimedia / Animation / Design / Communication, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience (Example: video / motion graphics roles).
  • Ability to provide a showreel or sample works.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with social media video marketing: knowing what works on reels, shorts, etc.
  • 3D animation knowledge or basic VFX.
  • Experience in a specific domain relevant to you (e.g. tech, education, advertising).
  • Drone footage / photography / editing.

Working Conditions

  • This is a Hybrid role ( 3 days 2 days WFH).
  • Expected to manage multiple video projects at once.
  • May require tight deadlines and flexible hours occasionally.
