Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce cost and improve service levels.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound transportation operations.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and transport vendors.
  • Supervise warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling.
  • Prepare and manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost control.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and transport providers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, production, sales) to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Tally software.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
