About the Company

Random Techie is an HR consulting firm helping global organizations in their recruitment process. We are hiring for our Canada-based client, Nextomate ), a digital innovation company delivering modern technology solutions worldwide. Selected candidates will be directly on Nextomate's payroll.

Position: Golang Developer

Experience: 3–7 years

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time (on Nextomate payroll)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
  • Build and optimize REST/gRPC APIs and microservices.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

  • 4–8 years of professional software development experience, with 4+ years in Golang.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
