About the Role

We are hiring a seasoned Java Developer for one of our esteemed clients. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in agile environments and are passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities


• Design and develop RESTful web service APIs using Java


• Collaborate within agile teams to deliver business-driven solutions


• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code using TDD, JUnit, Postman, and Swagger


• Optimize service performance and troubleshoot system-wide issues


• Lead and participate in design/code reviews and provide technical guidance


• Build SSO and web service integrations using SAML and SOAP


• Ensure API security and manage authorization via API Gateway (e.g., Tyk)


• Support sprint goals by proactively resolving development impediments

Required Skills & Qualifications


• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java


• Minimum 4 years working with RESTful Web Services


• Strong expertise in Spring Boot or Spring MVC frameworks


• Solid experience with Oracle or other RDBMS, including SQL query design


• Familiarity with development tools: Eclipse, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven


• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles


• Experience with WebSphere or similar application servers


• Knowledge of API security protocols and gateway management
