Job description

We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in PHP and Laravel, with a passion for building efficient and scalable web applications. Experience with server-side management, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, web server configuration, and performance optimization, will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.
  • Write clean, secure, and well documented code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement new features.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within existing applications.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Integrate third party APIs and tools as needed.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on the Laravel framework
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object oriented programming.
  • Experience with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in working with databases, particularly MySQL & MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with server-side tasks like deployment, CI/CD, and performance tuning is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other PHP frameworks (e.g., CodeIgniter, Symfony) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.
