Overview: The Data Entry - Typist Part-Time - Work Online position is an essential role within our organization, responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information in our databases and systems. This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data, which is vital for informed decision-making and business operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Input data from source documents into prescribed computer database systems
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data and perform regular data maintenance tasks
  • Review and correct discrepancies in data entries
  • Ensure data integrity and security by following company procedures and protocols
  • Organize and maintain paperwork and electronic files
  • Compile, sort, and organize data to be entered into databases
  • Adhere to data entry standards and best practices
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for data entry tasks
  • Perform data cleanup and deduplication processes
  • Conduct data analysis and generate reports as required
  • Communicate with team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in training and development sessions as needed
  • Adhere to data confidentiality and security policies
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in data entry and typing
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of databases and data management systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
