Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
with hands-on experience in
Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management)
to join our DevOps/SRE team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our billing infrastructure while enabling continuous delivery and automation.

This is a critical role supporting production and pre-production environments and ensuring high availability of billing systems for enterprise-grade clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of Oracle BRM-based systems in production and lower environments.
  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools to support Oracle BRM deployments and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and integration issues related to BRM and its components.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to improve deployment processes and reduce incidents.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for BRM-related components.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and postmortems for incidents, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) to manage scalable and secure infrastructure for BRM.
  • Support automation of backups, failovers, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical production systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with
    Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management)
    – installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and tuning.
  • Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in scripting or coding with Python, Perl, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in telecom or billing systems environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL, and BRM schemas.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Oracle BRM Certification is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder preferred (due to project requirements).
