The General Manager /AGM

  • Internal Audit ( Engineering, Procurement and Contracting
  • EPC) will lead internal audits covering financial, systems, management, and investigative audits.

This role involves defining, developing, and implementing the Internal Audit framework across all units/divisions, focusing on adequacy/relevance of policies, procedures, checks, and controls. Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning and Execution:
  • Carry out financial, systems, management, and investigative audits
  • Define audit scope and approach based on risk assessment and internal considerations
  • Ensure timely closure of queries/issues raised during audits
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Establish formal process for identifying major business risks
  • Develop and implement processes to identify systemic weaknesses
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure controls are in place to mitigate identified risks
  • Compliance and Governance:
  • Evaluate compliance to various statutes and status of corporate governance
  • Build relationships with business leads to develop understanding and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure standardization of working practices, processes, and systems for effective controls and governance
  • Team Management:
  • Train and develop the Internal Audit team
  • Plan, allocate work, and communicate tasks to team members
  • Supervise team progress and provide guidance for effective performanceRequirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • Qualified Professional (Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant)
  • Experience of around 14+ years in Internal Audit function, preferably in a construction or real estate company of EPC vertical exposure .

Industry-specific Requirements:

  • Experience in managing internal audits for construction or real estate companies
  • Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Contracting) company operations
