PLATFORM SOLUTIONS

In Platform Solutions (PS), we power clients with innovative and customer-centred financial products. We bring the best qualities of a technology player and combine that with the best attributes of a large bank. PS is comprised of four main businesses, underpinned by engineering, operations, and risk management:

• Transaction Banking, a cash management and payments platform for clients building a corporate treasury system
• Enterprise Partnerships, consumer financial products that companies embed directly within their ecosystems to better serve their end customers
• Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending, a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers
• ETF Accelerator, a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vice President, Data Analytics with Goldman Sachs Services Private Limited in Bengaluru, India. 
• Perform and oversee advanced data analytics (e.g. machine learning) activities while monitoring portfolio health and identifying opportunities to drive industry leading fraud prevention and exceptional customer experience.
• Own end-to-end transaction fraud strategy: propose rules, manage deployments, track performance, and report KPIs to leadership.
• Leverage advanced modeling techniques to build forecasting and diagnostic tools to understand and explain portfolio performance drivers and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Compliance teams to implement solutions and improve the performance of the portfolios.
• Manage and resolve escalations from partners and senior executives.
• Identify, document, and improve existing processes in order to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments.
• Provide analysis, design strategies for strategic projects and drive end-to-end project delivery.
• Prepare executive presentations and organize team meetings and activities.
• Manage productivity of the direct reports and regularly conduct knowledge sessions with the team while researching and remaining current on the latest industry trends.
• Introduce new data analysis methodologies as well as build rich data capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in a related Data Analytics role.

OR

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in a related Data Analytics role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior work experience must include three (3) year (with a Master's degree) OR five (5) years (with a Bachelor's degree) with each of the following:

• Working in a business analyst and project management role within the financial services sector
• Analyzing data trends, utilizing forecasting methods such as Time Series analysis, and leveraging Machine Learning techniques such as Gradient Boost and Random Forest to perform deep dive and understand drivers and trends. 
• Defining functional requirements, service level projects (SLOs), quality-related measurements and scenario-based use cases in support of the product or project management lifecycle.
• Working with desktop platforms and applications, ensuring overall availability, while factoring in upstream or downstream system dependencies.
