Lead Verification Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Verification Engineer
with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in
processor verification, CPU architecture, and microarchitecture design
. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in
Arm Cortex
and
RISC-V architectures
, and will play a key role in ensuring the functional correctness and performance of advanced CPU designs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive
    verification plans
    for CPU cores and subsystems.
  • Design and maintain
    testbenches, stimulus generators, and checkers
    using SystemVerilog/UVM.
  • Perform
    functional, performance, and power verification
    of CPU designs.
  • Collaborate with CPU architects and designers to translate specifications into verification strategies.
  • Debug complex design and verification issues, providing detailed root cause analysis.
  • Drive
    coverage closure
    and ensure verification completeness.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality silicon.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
    .
  • 6+ years of experience
    in CPU/processor verification.
  • Strong knowledge of
    CPU architecture and microarchitecture concepts
    (pipelines, caches, MMU, branch prediction, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Arm Cortex
    and
    RISC-V architectures
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting languages
    (Python, Perl, TCL).
  • Experience with industry-standard
    simulation tools
    (Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, Mentor Questa).
  • Familiarity with
    formal verification techniques
    and tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    SoC-level verification
    and integration.
  • Exposure to
    low-power design techniques
    and verification.
  • Knowledge of
    emulation/FPGA platforms
    (Palladium, Veloce, etc.).
  • Contributions to
    open-source RISC-V projects
    or CPU verification frameworks.
