The Boeing Company is currently looking for Summer Internship for: 

Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Manufacturing engineering Intern(ME) function is responsible to translate the design definitions into physical products. ME activities would span across the life cycle of a product including but not limited to understanding of the design requirements, raw materials, fabrication, sequence of build, quality and validation of the final product. 

Position Responsibilities:

o    Author and modify Installation plans (aircraft assemblies)
o    Standardizing existing manufacturing work instructions.
o    Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Assist in technical problem solving.
o    Review existing assembly process and drive process improvements 
o    Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
o    Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. 
o    Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
o    Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
o    Interfaces with Integrated Product teams and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

Basic Skills Needed:
o    Knowledge of basic Manufacturing & Assembly operations.
o    Basic Modelling skills - CATIA/NX/Autocad
 

Equipment & Tool Engineer Intern

Position Responsibilities:

o    Executing projects independently with minimum supervision
o    Collaborating & communicating with cross functional teams and all stakeholders
o    Work collaboratively with guidance and mentoring from team during project execution
o    Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
o    Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools.
o    Must be interested in Tool Design and Production engineering lifecycle.
o    Develop, integrate and document Production Tool requirements.
o    Develop and maintain the Tool design component and installation designs using 3D computer-aided engineering tools.
o    Provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world.
