Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Freelance Textile Assessor located in Mengio. The individual will be responsible for assessing the skills and competencies of textile trainees as per set parameters and evaluation frameworks. Key responsibilities include inspecting completed work for quality standards, conducting practical assessments to determine proficiency, reviewing theoretical knowledge, and preparing detailed reports of findings. The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry-specific requirements and maintaining clear communication with trainees and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Textile Production, Quality Control, and Fabric Analysis.
• Proficiency in using textile machinery and tools for assessment purposes.
• Capability to evaluate both practical hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills for clear documentation.
• Attention to detail and adherence to industry standards and guidelines.
• Prior experience in textile training, assessing, or quality assurance roles is beneficial.
• Knowledge of local textile industry practices and trends in Mengio is an advantage.
• A diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Design, or a related field is preferred.
