We're looking for a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager (Engagement & Core Experience) to craft habit-forming, delightful experiences that drive students to return, engage, and learn more effectively each day.

About The Role
As a core member of the Engagement & Experience charter, you'll responsible for one of PWs̓ most critical user-facing surfaces - such as the Study Page (the home of learning) or Gamification & engagement loops. This is a high-impact IC role where you'll shape how millions of learners interact with PW daily. You'll work closely with design, engineering, and data teams to build intuitive, motivating, and personalized experiences that directly improve engagement, retention, and learning outcomes. You'll experiment boldly, iterate fast, and measure impact through tangible improvements in how learners spend time, return to learn, and achieve mastery on the platform.

What You'll Own

  • Take end-to-end ownership of a major engagement surface such as Study Page (the home of learning) or Gamification Systems, shaping its vision, roadmap, and execution.
  • Drive measurable improvements across core metrics like:

  • Engagement: Avg. daily time spent, sessions per user, feature & cross property adoption

  • Retention: Day 1 / Day 7 / Day 30 retention, weekly returning users, property retention
  • Habit Strength: Active streak users %, rewards earned per active user, repeat learning actions

  • Partner with Data & AI teams to personalize engagement journeys based on learner behaviour and preferences.

  • Conceptualize and run A/B experiments to test hypotheses, measure impact, and iterate fast.
  • Collaborate with design to craft intuitive, rewarding, and emotionally engaging experiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with Growth, Content, and Engineering teams to deliver features that improve session depth and time-on-learning.
  • Regularly analyze usage data and user feedback to identify friction points and new engagement opportunities.
  • Translate engagement success into learning and business outcomes (renewals, study completion, and user satisfaction).

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of core Product Management experience owning user-facing, consumer-tech products (preferably 1M+ MAU).
  • Demonstrated success in improving user engagement, time spent, or retention in B2C apps (gaming, OTT, or social).
  • Deep curiosity and understanding about behavioral design, motivation, and habit formation frameworks (e.g., Hooked model, Fogg s̓ Behavior Model).
  • Strong analytical skills - fluent in reading dashboards, running funnel analyses, and identifying meaningful metrics (Bonus points for hands on SQL).
  • Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments, with a strong understanding of metrics, funnel diagnostics, cohort analysis, and statistical significance.
  • Bias towards execution and taking a hypothesis from idea to shipped product quickly.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with design, data, and engineering teams.
  • Passion for education and building products that inspire consistent learning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, high-impact environment.
