The Job

We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe CICS Specialist with 10+ years of hands-on experience in CICS infrastructure management, installation, and optimization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing CICS environments, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality solutions to clients as part of their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and upgrade CICS Transaction Server (TS) across environments
  • Create and customize CICS regions, tables, and tune performance parameters
  • Code and troubleshoot using Assembler language for CICS components
  • Define and manage CICS resources (terminals, programs, bundles) online
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure
  • Set up and troubleshoot CICS SSL configurations
  • Configure and maintain CICSPlex (CMAS, WUI) and MRO regions
  • Implement and support CICS Transaction Gateway, CICS Web Services, and CICSplex Operations
  • Apply PTFs and manage vendor product installations/upgrades
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon, and Mainview for performance and diagnostics
  • Lead technical workshops, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoC)
  • Participate in solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development
  • Ensure alignment with client budgets and organizational financial guidelines
  • Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives
