Senior DevOps Engineer (6+ Years Experience) Azure DevOps, GitHub, Vendavo CPQ, .NET

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior DevOps Engineer with over 6 years of experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. The candidate will independently set up and manage end-to-end DevOps processes in a new environment, particularly for Vendavo CPQ and .NET applications, using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Vendavo CPQ and .NET applications using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Set up and manage new DevOps environments from scratch.
  • Configure infrastructure, service connections, and agent pools in Azure DevOps.
  • Work closely with developers and solution architects to define deployment strategies and application configurations.
  • Implement GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and integrate with Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes for web applications and backend APIs.
  • Manage and configure nfrastructure-as-code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform (optional).
  • Monitor pipeline executions and production deployments, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization in the DevOps setup.
  • Collaborate with QA and UAT teams for release coordination and validation.
  • Document configurations, setup procedures, and deployment runbooks.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps with strong expertise in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Releases).
  • Proficient in using GitHub for source control, actions, and repository management.
  • Experience setting up Vendavo CPQ DevOps processes (including metadata, release strategies, and environment syncs).
  • Solid experience with .NET applications (ASP.NET, Core, MVC) in DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong scripting knowledge:PowerShell, YAML, Bash.
  • Hands-on with environment setup: service connections, agent pools, approvals, and gates in Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, Key Vaults, App Services).
  • Good understanding of infrastructure automation and build/deploy orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Terraform or Bicep for infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Application Insights, Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps or other CPQ tools.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and sprint planning using Azure Boards or Jira.
