Solution Implementation Engineer

Job Purpose (brief)

Racanaa [] is looking for a Solutions Implementation Engineer to join their growing team in Bangalore. Th
e Solutions Implementation Engineer at Racanaa designs, deploys and optimizes energy management solutions for clients by designing solutions to measure energy consumption, configuring automation tools and ensuring compliance with regulations. 

This position is responsible for understanding customer requirements, conducting detailed site energy audits, designing & implementing Racanaa's energy management solutions at customer sites, managing project timelines and budgets, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support to users on new energy management systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysis & Planning:

Understand customer requirements, conduct energy audits to assess current energy usage, identify areas for improvement, and develop detailed project plans for implementing new energy management solutions. 

Solution Design & Configuration:

Design solutions and configure Racanaa's energy management platform to meet specific customer requirements. 

Collaborate with draftsmen to ensure SLDs and communication drawings accurately reflect the solution. Prepare solution proposals, technical documents, and conceptual designs. Work with sales, product, and delivery teams for seamless transition from design to execution

Deployment & Testing:

Deploy and test energy solutions to ensure they are "fit for purpose" and meet performance standards and customer expectations. Support pilots, proof of concept and solution validation activities.

Data Management & Monitoring:

Collect, validate, and analyze energy consumption data across systems and equipment. 

Research & Evaluate:

Research & evaluate COTS sensors, modules, subsystems to meet specific user requirements and/or define clear requirements for the Racanaa Engineering teams to build enhancements to the Racanaa energy management platform.

Compliance:

Ensure all implemented solutions comply with relevant energy regulations, industry standards, and environmental certifications. 

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, facility managers, and utility providers, explaining complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Training & Support:

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on new energy management practices and provide ongoing technical support. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Delivery of customer-aligned EMS solution designs within defined timelines.
• Creation of innovative, cost-effective, and technically sound energy management solutions.
• Accuracy of SLDs and communication drawings (through coordination with draftsman).
• Delivery of accurate and timely audit reports.
• Compliance with statutory and regulatory energy audit guidelines.
• Identification of measurable energy savings opportunities.
• Solution performance assessment and KPIs delivery
• Building solution libraries, templates, and reference architectures for reusability.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and related technologies.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, IoT devices, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, MQTT).
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in using energy audit tools/instruments and interpreting data.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Ability to evaluate products/technologies and design integrated solutions.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, solution concepts, and BOMs.
• Proficiency in interpreting SLDs and communication drawings (prepared by draftsman).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution conceptualization skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience conducting energy audits for HVAC, lighting, motors, compressors, and other major systems.

Education:

• BE/B.Tech preferably in EEE/ECE
• Certified Energy Auditor (BEE or equivalent).

• Candidate should be flexible to travel within or outside the city to customer location whenever required
