Certified Azure AI Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and eager to learn and work in large, complex environments.

You will be working on an experienced, diverse, and highly effective team building and operating secure, compliant, and efficient hybrid cloud environments to empower hardware engineers to thrive. In collaboration with service owners, the team defines, discovers, tracks, and acts on development environments for our partner, a Fortune 50 company.

In the AI Engineer role, you will be developing and supporting AI solutions to recurring engineering IT challenges. You will be responsible for following best practices and evolving services based on the ever-changing AI environment developing improved ways to provide automated support and documentation, predict pending failure, and trend detection using Microsoft Azure AI technologies. Privacy, security, and ethical use of AI is paramount to building trust in these technologies, you will participate in developing processes and policies to ensure use of AI in this environment is secure and ethical. In this role, you will work closely with global IT and engineering teams both within AMS DataSerfs and our partner's staff.

Job Description - what you'll do

• Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Bot Services.
• Collaborate with developers, systems administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven applications.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise solutions, including natural language processing, computer vision, and conversational AI.
• Ensure AI models and services are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Implement responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and compliance with governance requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI solutions.
• Document technical designs, best practices, and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications - basic requirements to be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate credential.
• 4+ years of professional development experience with strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, etc.).
• English proficiency, both written and verbal. IET/CEFR/Cambridge C1, TOEFL, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications - what we're looking for

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Bot Framework, Azure Data Services).
• Knowledge of data modeling, machine learning lifecycle, and AI/ML algorithms.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.
• Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise-scale architectures.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for automation and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
