Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the sulphitation tanks and SO gas dosing system.
- Maintain pH and temperature within standard process limits.
- Coordinate with the juice preparation and evaporation sections for continuous operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the sulphitation area.
- Record daily process readings and report abnormalities to the shift in-charge.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during operation.
- Assist in start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities of the sulphitation section.
- Monitor SO2 levels during operation
- Ensure safe plant operations at all times
- Follow ITIs & sugar plant procedures
- Operate equipment safely with SOC control
- Perform juice clarification processes
