Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer (Java | Spring Boot | Angular | Kafka | SQL/NoSQL)

Location: hyderabad

Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week)

Position Overview

As a Full Stack Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and leading the development of end-to-end software solutions using modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases. You will mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and ensure the successful delivery of projects in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full stack developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.
• Define technical direction, architecture, and best practices across backend, frontend, and integration layers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and actionable development plans.
• Drive Agile practices lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
• Review and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage risk and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of critical project milestones.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern front-end technologies.
• Integrate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Design efficient data models and queries using SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) databases.
• Implement unit testing, integration testing, and test automation to maintain high code quality.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical/lead role.

• Expertise in:

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs

• Frontend: Angular (preferred) or React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Messaging: Apache Kafka

• Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.

• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills with strong communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with API gateway, service mesh, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical hiring and team development.

Work Mode
