We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer (React Native) to design, develop, and optimize high-quality cross-platform mobile applications that seamlessly integrate with Java/Spring Boot microservices backends and frontend ecosystems.

This is an immediate joiner role for professionals who are passionate about mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and end-to-end system integration in a microservices environment.

Position Overview

As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.

You will collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to integrate mobile apps with Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and UIs, ensuring a cohesive multi-platform experience.

The role demands hands-on expertise in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript, as well as a deep understanding of microservices communication, mobile app architecture, and cloud deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mobile Application Development

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, targeting both iOS and Android.
• Create modular, scalable, and maintainable components following modern JavaScript and React Native best practices.
• Implement state management using Redux, MobX, or Context API for predictable data flow
• Ensure apps are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance and device compatibility
• Integrate mobile UI components with backend services developed using Java/Spring Boot microservices.

2. Backend Integration & Microservices Collaboration

• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API structures, data contracts, and response schemas.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for data exchange between mobile clients and backend services.
• Implement efficient network handling, data caching, and offline storage mechanisms using AsyncStorage or SQLite.
• Work with microservice-based architectures to ensure modular, loosely coupled communication between systems.
• Participate in backend discussions on API design, security (OAuth2/JWT), and data flow optimization.

3. Frontend & Web Ecosystem Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure consistency in design systems and shared component logic across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into functional, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
• Ensure consistent UX behavior and design standards between mobile and web applications using shared UI principles.

4. Performance Optimization & Maintenance

• Conduct performance audits and optimize rendering, network usage, and resource consumption.
• Implement lazy loading, code-splitting, and efficient image caching strategies to improve responsiveness.
• Monitor app performance using tools such as Flipper, Firebase Performance Monitoring, or New Relic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth functioning across device types and OS versions.

5. Testing, CI/CD, and Deployment

• Write unit, integration, and UI tests using Jest, Detox, or Appium to maintain application quality.
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, managing version control and release cycles.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and bug-free releases.

6. Security & Compliance

• Implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2 or JWT integrated with backend microservices.
• Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR/HIPAA standards where applicable.
• Follow secure mobile development practices including encryption, secure storage, and API-level access control.

7. Agile Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work within an Agile development framework, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, backend developers, product managers, and QA team
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and enforce coding and architecture best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions to evolve app performance, scalability, and user experience.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Core Mobile Development Skills

• Proficiency in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Expertise in building and deploying cross-platform apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of React Native components, Hooks, and state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Context API)
• Familiarity with native modules, bridging, and integrating third-party SDKs.
• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket communication.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM and Flux.

Backend & Integration Skills

• Experience integrating with Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, API Gateways, and service orchestration.
• Strong understanding of backend data exchange, asynchronous processing, and security protocols (OAuth2, JWT).

Frontend & Web Technologies

• Exposure to , JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 for shared front-end development collaboration.
• Understanding of frontend integration principles in a full-stack environment.

Database & Cloud

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
• Basic understanding of Azure / AWS / GCP for mobile backend integration and hosting APIs.
• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging, Push Notifications, and App Analytics.

Tools & Utilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for mobile release automation.
• Prior experience in Healthcare, Finance, or Enterprise Mobile Systems is a plus.
• Certifications in React Native, Java, or Cloud Platforms are advantageous.
