Role & responsibilities :

• Conduct route alignment surveys, topographical surveys, and profiling for transmission line projects.
• Carry out tower spotting, bench marking, and preparation of route maps as per project requirements.
• Operate and maintain survey instruments such as Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, and other modern survey equipment.
• Perform land demarcation, boundary verification, and coordinate with land acquisition teams as required.
• Prepare and verify survey drawings, maps, and related documentation using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ensure accuracy of survey data and maintain detailed field records.
• Coordinate with engineering and execution teams for design inputs and validation at site.
• Monitor and report survey progress, highlighting risks or discrepancies in alignment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during field survey activities.
• Guide and supervise junior survey staff and subcontractors when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong technical knowledge of transmission line survey methodologies. Experience with EHV (220kV and above) transmission line projects will be an added advantage. Good understanding of topography, geotechnical features, and route alignment challenges.

Functional Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in handling Total Station, GPS/DGPS, Drone Survey tools, and AutoCAD/Survey software.
