Position:- Physician Assistant

Qualification:- B.sc In Physician Assistant

Experiance:- 1-4 Years

Role & responsibilities

• Diagnose heart and lung conditions including heart disease, lung cancer, and other conditions that affect the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
• Assist in performing surgeries on the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, Procure conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement surgery and lung resection surgery.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients who undergo surgery, including managing pain & monitoring vital sign.
• Managing the care of patients with heart and lung conditions, coordinating with Consultants such as cardiologists, pulmonologists and critical care.
• Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
• Educate patients and their families about heart and lung conditions, treatment options, and the importance of lifestyle modifications, such as diet and exercise.
• Performing invasive procedures, such as: Thoracentesis, Chest tube insertions, Placement of central venous and dialysis catheters, place Swan Ganz catheters, placement of arterial lines and intra-aortic balloon pumps, Retrieval of vascular tissues for use as a bypass conduit, Endoscopic retrieval.
• Set up equipment prior to each procedure and also to check their functioning.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning including quality control and calibration.
• Maintain safe work practices with respect to infection control and radiation safety.
• Maintenance of inventory of equipment, demand and accounting register of the material used in the department.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
