Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize themes and plugins based on project requirements.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS), speed, and SEO compliance.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks such as slow loading, render-blocking scripts, image optimization, and caching issues.
  • Manage WordPress updates, security patches, and backups.
  • Convert Figma/PSD designs into functional WordPress pages.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with designers, content writers, and marketing team.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Elementor/Divi, and WooCommerce.
  • Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proven experience in fixing Core Web Vitals issues and improving PageSpeed Insights scores.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and schema markup.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, VPS, Cloud).
  • Knowledge of version control (Git) is a plus.

Good to Have

  • Experience with custom theme/plugin development.
  • Knowledge of marketing integrations.
  • Basic knowledge of UI adjustments.
  • Prior experience in agency or consulting projects.

Soft Skills
