Sales Executive (Industrial Goods)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial goods sales.
  • Skills:
  • Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Knowledge of Tally (for invoicing and accounting purposes).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Cold Calling:
  • Conducting cold calls to generate leads and inquiries.
  • Following up on inquiries and converting them into sales.
  1. Quotations & Order Conversion:
  • Preparing and sending detailed quotations in response to customer inquiries.
  • Following up on sent quotations to convert them into confirmed orders.
  1. Coordination with Internal Teams:
  • Liaising with the store and dispatch departments to ensure the availability of materials.
  • Coordinating with customers for timely dispatch.
  1. Dispatch & Documentation:
  • Preparing necessary dispatch documents such as Delivery Challans (DC), Tax Invoices (TI), and e-way bills.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation for dispatch.
  1. Payment Follow-ups:
  • Managing payment follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of payments.
  • Keeping track of accounts receivable.
  1. Government Orders:
  • Preparing and submitting proper documentation in line with the Purchase Order (PO) for government contracts.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-driven with a strong ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
