Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling video content that engages our audience and meets project goals. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and creative vision.
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
  • Perform post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics integration using tools like Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
  • Conduct photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One to enhance visual elements.
  • Manage content creation processes from filming to final delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain video files using content management systems and FTP protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in video production, graphic design, typography, and motion graphics.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with post-production techniques such as color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics creation.
  • Strong understanding of videography principles including filming techniques and equipment handling.
  • Familiarity with 2D/3D animation tools such as Maya for creating engaging visual content.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
