Job Profile -

Experience in Primary and Secondary Engineering of EHV Substation Business.

Experience on the following design activities:

• Substation Design Upto 400 kV AIS / GIS Substation in Govt and Private power sector of India. 765 kV Substation experience will be an added qualification.
• Busbar Designing Design Calculation of SCF on Rigid and Flexible Conductor, Ampacity Calculation, Sag-Tension Calculation.
• Lightning Protection designing Razevig & EGM method for yard. Building lightning protection.
• Earthmat Design Conductor sizing, Step, and touch potential, GPR. Preferred proficiency in Earthing analytical software like CDEGS.
• Cable Design – Sizing Calculation (LT & HT), Trench Sizing calculation, Cable routing drawing, Cable Schedule and Termination Schedule.
• Lighting design – Lux level design, Lighting distribution drawing, Conduit Layout.
• Air Conditioning Design – Heat load calculation, AC sizing and Layout and Power distribution.
• Layout Engineering – Basic SLD, Layout, Sections, Clearance Diagrams, Structural Layout, Foundation and Cable Trench Layout, EKD etc.
• Protection Design – Protection SLD, CT/PT sizing calculation, Relay setting calculation knowledge.

Proficiency in following Vendor Engineering:

• GIS Equipment (33 kV to 400 kV), 765 kV will be a added qualification.
• AIS Equipment – CB, CT, CVT, PT, Isolator, LA, WT etc.
• GIS / VCB / Hybrid system for 33 kV & 11 kV Boards.
• Auxiliary Items – Erection Hardware Items, LT AC & DC Dist Boards, Battery and Battery Chargers, Misc Dist. Boards.
• EHV, HV & LV Cables.
• Control & Protection System, PLCC / FOTE communication system, Substation Automation system.
• Fire fighting System – Pumping and Hydrant system, HVWS system, NIFPES

• Other systems – A/C & Ventilation system, Pressurized ventilation system, Visual Monitoring System, Illumination system, EPABX system.

• Should have experience in preparing Bill of material.

• Should be Capable of Tender Stage estimation.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Essential:

Should have experience and good hand on analysis and design of buildings with Software -STAAD-Pro. As well as manual calculations / Should have experience in preparing Bill of material. - GIS & AIS Substation relevant experience is highly preferred.

Preferred:

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project. - Sound knowledge of technical aspects of EHV, power distribution system and installation projects
