THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive with 3- 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial operations.

You will play a key role in managing GST filings, income tax returns, expense tracking, and financial reporting using Zoho Books and Zoho Expense

.This role is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, proactive, and eager to grow in corporate finance operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Accounting & Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns, annual income tax returns, and TDS filings in compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and ledgers.
  • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Invoice & Expense Management

  • Manage invoices, billing cycles, and payment tracking using Zoho Books.
  • Handle employee expense claims and approvals via Zoho Expense.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Support management with cash flow analysis, budget tracking, and financial planning.
  • Highlight discrepancies or risks and suggest corrective actions.

Coordination & Process Efficiency

  • Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for payment reconciliation and issue resolution.
  • Work with finance leadership to optimize accounting processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial records for compliance and audits.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of GST filing, income tax returns, and TDS compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Expense (or equivalent tools like QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for reconciliations and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Knowledge of corporate tax laws, ROC filings, and audit preparation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and automation tools.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
