We are seeking individuals with demonstrated expertise in Physics, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Astronomy— particularly those with experience in Olympiad-level problem setting, competition training, or participation.
We're inviting competition problem writers, selection committee members, medalists, and participants to help push the boundaries of AI reasoning by training large language models to think and solve problems like the world's top competitors.

This role is a short-term, high-impact research engagement, with potential for extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Write original, advanced Olympiad-style problems in your area of expertise (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or Astronomy).- Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and reasoning depth.
- Identify conceptual gaps, logical flaws, or scientifically invalid assumptions.
- Provide clear, step-by-step analytical or experimental solutions using proper LaTeX formatting.- Maintain rigorous scientific standards and Olympiad-level problem difficulty across all tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • You're a strong fit if you have experience as a:

  • Olympiad medalist, problem setter, coach, or selection committee member in:
    - IPhO, IChO, IBO, IOAA, IESO, or equivalent national competitions
    - Or as a graduate researcher or educator experienced in designing advanced conceptual or quantitative problems in the sciences.
    You should possess:

  • Deep understanding of your domain's core theoretical and experimental concepts

  • Ability to articulate reasoning and derivations clearly in written form
    - Strong proficiency in LaTeX and analytical presentation- Independent, precise, and disciplined work style
