The QA Lead Engineer will help ensure the quality of our application, by preparing, managing teams with execution of tests. This person will also be responsible for contributing to setting up QA best practices and managing the full testing life cycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Contribute to setting up QA processes and best practices
  • Contribute in mentoring team with Automation, test cases writing and test management
  • Ensure quality of applications by creating/managing/executing both manual and automated tests
  • Understand business/engineering requirements to be able to better contribute to quality
  • Write/manage/execute manual test cases, automated test scripts.
  • Work in close co-ordination with teams located internationally.
  • Understand and contribute to Agile processes
  • Participate in sprints, scrum and release planning.

Profile: QA professional with around 8 to 10 years of experience in the area of Quality Assurance, and in testing of various types of software. You have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the drive to deliver on time.

Knowledge and Skills – Required

  • 8+ years of experience in testing applications based on microservices architecture
  • Experience working with Web, API Testing, Messaging (Kafka/MQTT) - both manual + automation
  • Experience using testing tools such as Jira, Git, Azure Dev Ops, Playwright, RobotFramework, Postman, CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in at least one testing automation tool (preferably on Playwright + Robot Framework)
  • Experience in Agile Development Methodology, working in sprints, SCRUM.
  • Experience in at least one scripting/programming language – Python, playwright, RobotFramework
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Self-Driven and able to complete tasks autonomously and under pressure
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and skills quickly
  • Write and review test design/plan documentation
  • Hands-on design/code review process for test automation
