Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and lifecycle management of Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid) and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage and optimize M365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Defender for M365.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, compliance configurations, and data loss prevention (DLP) across M365.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor system performance, usage, and health; generate reports and recommendations.
  • Always updated with Microsoft roadmap updates and proactively plan for changes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational standards.
  • Creation, Deletion of user mailboxes, shared mailbox, resource mailbox, contacts, distribution groups, dynamic distribution groups, address book (GAL) policies.
  • Creating and assigning roles in Azure AD.
  • Manage restoration and retention of emails policies.
  • Bulk emails management.
  • Email compliance management
  • Implementing threat protection policies related to malicious files, links, profanity filters for the organization.
  • Managing SPF, DKIM, DMARC policies and records of Bank
  • Monitoring and managing SPAM and threat protection
  • Creating restriction policies for webmail/OWA access externally.
  • Managing archived data, mailbox and group permissions.
  • Managing MFA and password related queries
  • Downloading and analyzing admin audit logs and email tracking logs monthly basis.
  • Assistance in monthly and quarterly reports with customers
  • Managing retention policies, litigation holds and e-Discovery search
  • License management
  • Managing mobile devices and Azure AD accounts and permissions and providing customized admin roles.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 5 years focused on Exchange and M365.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Server (2016/2019), Exchange Online, and hybrid configurations.
  • Deep understanding of M365 architecture, licensing, and administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection.
  • Knowledge of compliance features like eDiscovery, retention policies, and audit logs.
  • Experience with Intune and mobile device management is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
