Machine Setting & Operation

  • Set up CNC-HMC, Multi Axis machines as per job requirements.
  • Ensure proper loading and setting of tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, part programs, and process sheets.
  • Perform first piece inspection and make necessary offsets or adjustments.

Supervision & Incharge Duties

  • Supervise a team of operators and setters to ensure smooth workflow and shift targets.
  • Allocate jobs to machines and ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment.
  • Monitor daily production output, downtime, and coordinate with planning and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain production logs and shift reports.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
  • Coordinate with QC team for in-process and final inspections.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize rework and rejection rates.

Tool & Process Management

  • Plan and maintain tool inventory for smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with process engineering for cycle time improvement and cost optimization.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of machines and support preventive maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce workplace safety rules and housekeeping practices.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and 5S practices.
