Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Senior QA Engineer
with 5+ years of experience in
Automation Testing
,
API Testing
,
Mainframe Testing
, and
Functional Testing
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing automated test scripts, validating backend systems (including mainframes), and ensuring the overall quality of applications through both manual and automated functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust
  automation test frameworks
  for web, desktop, and mainframe-based applications.
• Perform
  API testing
  using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Validate and test
  mainframe applications
  using tools such as CA7, File-Aid, TSO/ISPF, JCL, etc.
• Execute
  functional, regression, and integration testing
  to ensure application stability and usability.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
• Write detailed and reusable
  test cases
  ,
  test scripts
  , and
  test data
  setups.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in
  Agile/Scrum
  ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years
  of experience in QA/Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with
  automation testing tools
  such as Selenium, UFT, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficient in
  API testing
  and tools like Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, etc.
• Experience in
  mainframe testing
  , including navigating mainframe environments and verifying batch jobs.
• Strong knowledge of
  manual and functional testing methodologies
  .
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or VBScript) is a plus.
• Experience with
  CI/CD tools
  (e.g., Jenkins, Git) is desirable.
• Understanding of
  Agile methodologies
  and test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
