Formulation Development: Develop and fine-tune EVA compound formulations based on product requirements (density, hardness, resilience, etc.). Process Optimization: Monitor and improve compounding processes for consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Material Selection: Evaluate and source appropriate raw materials (EVA resin, blowing agents, cross-linkers, fillers, colorants, additives) to achieve desired compound properties.

Quality Control: Collaborate with QA to establish and maintain stringent quality standards across all batches. Conduct troubleshooting and RCA for compound-related issues. Machine Handling: Operate and supervise kneaders, mixers (Banbury/Intermix), extruders, and other relevant compounding equipment.

Documentation: Maintain detailed formulation records, batch reports, and compliance documentation as per ISO/QA standards. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Production, and QA teams to ensure compound suitability for various production processes like injection molding, sheet extrusion, or foaming. Team Management: Train and guide junior compounders, operators, and lab staff to ensure consistent operational performance.

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.7–10 years of hands-on experience in EVA compounding within the footwear, foam, or polymer industry. Strong understanding of chemical properties, blending techniques, and EVA formulation chemistry. Knowledge of additives, pigments, crosslinking agents, and fillers used in EVA compounds.

Experience with production machinery like Banbury Mixers, kneaders, extruders, and laboratory testing instruments.
