- Mandatory Skills - Azure administration , SQL basics, Good communication, flexible to work in three rotational shifts (to support 24*7*365days). Preferred - PowerShell scripting exposure Detailed JD: Azure Infrastructure Management:Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Manage virtual machines, storage, azure activity directory, data, analytics, synapses and networking components within the Azure environment. Strong understanding of Azure security best practices. Security and Compliance:Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and streamline routine maintenance tasks, such as applying patches and updates. Resource Optimization:Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization, recommending adjustments to enhance cost-efficiency. Implement scaling strategies to accommodate changing workloads. Monitoring and Logging Implement Azure Monitoring using Log analytics and application insights. Configure Alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address issues. Troubleshooting and Support:Provide technical support for Azure-related issues, resolving incidents and problems promptly. Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures. Deployments and Runbook/Azure Automation:Good understanding on azure deployments and runbook templates SQL Database Administration Database Installation and Configuration:Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software and related products. Collaborate with system architects and developers to design and implement database solutions. Database Security/ Performance Monitoring and Tuning:Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive information. Manage user access and permissions, ensuring least privilege principles. Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient operation. Identify and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies. Database Maintenance/ Backup and Recovery:Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies. Disaster Recovery Planning:Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. Participate in the creation and testing of high-availability solutions.
