Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
1} New Business Development: Actively prospect, identify, qualify, and build a robust sales
pipeline within an assigned territory or account list.
2} Strategic Selling: Execute a full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and
closing. Develop and implement strategic account plans to win new business.
3} Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key
decision-makers, including C-Suite executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, CMO), VPs, and Directors.
4} Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs analysis to understand client pain
points, workflows, and strategic goals by meeting in person. Expertly articulate the value
proposition of Meta16 Labs's solutions through compelling presentations and product
demonstrations.
5} Market Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare IT landscape, including
industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., HIPAA, MIPS), and the competitive environment.
6} Forecasting: Accurately manage and forecast sales activity and pipeline to provide regular
updates to sales leadership.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Qualifications & Skills :
1} Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
2} 1-2 years of proven sales experience, specifically in Healthcare IT.
3} Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly with complex,
long-cycle sales.
4} Deep understanding of the healthcare provider market, including key challenges faced by
hospitals and health systems.
5} Strong knowledge of at least one of the following: EHR/EMR systems, Revenue Cycle
Management, Population Health, Data Analytics, or Interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
6} Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at
the executive level.
7} Self-starter with a "hunter" mentality and the ability to work autonomously.
8} Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
9} Willingness to travel within your state as needed (estimated [e.g., 25-50%]) to meet with clients
and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications :
1} Experience selling healthcare solutions into the acute care (hospital) market.
2} Established network of contacts within the healthcare provider space in the assigned territory.
