About The Role
The Quality Test Engineer II position in Quality Assurance is responsible for enhancing QA methodology and ensuring compliance by working with management to improve quality and process standards that result in on-time and efficient delivery of systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to process improvement and compliance to deliver high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification.
  • Participate in project reviews.
  • Help enhance methodologies for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and reporting metrics and status.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
  • Maintain a framework for record retention to support internal and external IT audits.
  • Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and helping to implement initiatives that will improve capability and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
We're looking for someone with:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Automation Testing
  • BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Moderate knowledge of QA methodologies
  • Knowledge of process improvement
  • Knowledge of the software development process
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of QA testing methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic project management skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience in J2SE and either J2EE or Python
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design principles and functional programming
  • Experience in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java
  • Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter
  • Experience in API Testing (Postman/REST)
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, MS SQL Server, with SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers
  • Experience with versioning tools like GIT (AWS DevOps is a plus)
  • Experience creating projects from scratch using multiple frameworks like TestNG, DDF, Page Object, Cucumber Framework (BDD)
  • Experience using build tools like Maven
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
