We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Chemist to manage and oversee chemical analysis and quality control processes in coal mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of coal through precise testing and analysis, while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Perform and supervise chemical analysis of coal samples including moisture, ash, volatile matter, fixed carbon, and sulfur content.

• Ensure accurate results for proximate, ultimate, and calorific value testing in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Monitor and enforce laboratory safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

• Manage sampling protocols and ensure proper documentation of results.

• Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to operations and quality assurance teams.

• Support research and development for coal beneficiation and process optimization.

• Train and guide junior chemists and lab technicians.

• Liaise with mining and production teams to ensure coal quality aligns with customer and regulatory specifications.
