Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Examination Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare the academic and examination calendar in consultation with the Dean and HoDs.
- Draft, finalize, and publish exam timetables and seating arrangements.
- Ensure proper allocation of invigilators and examination halls.
2. Coordination & Conduct of Examinations
- Supervise the entire exam process — from paper setting to result declaration.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of question papers and answer scripts.
- Coordinate with faculty for question paper setting, moderation, and evaluation.
- Handle logistics — stationery, attendance sheets, and other exam materials.
3. Result Processing
- Collect and compile marks from evaluators.
- Enter and verify data in the examination management system (ERP/Tally/University Software).
- Prepare result sheets, grade cards, and official mark statements.
- Coordinate for revaluation, scrutiny, and supplementary exams.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all examination activities comply with university and statutory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of exam-related correspondence, reports, and data.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and official university documentation.
5. Communication & Student Support
- Address student queries regarding examinations, results, and backlogs.
- Communicate circulars, notices, and exam-related updates to departments and students.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferably in Administration, Education, or Commerce).
- 2–5 years of experience in academic administration or examination cell (preferably in a university/college).
- Knowledge of university ERP/exam management systems.
- Familiarity with UGC/AICTE/NEP guidelines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data management software.
