Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
AWS DevOps Engineer
with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation, cloud provisioning, CI/CD pipeline management, monitoring, and database administration. This role requires a hands-on technologist with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on
    AWS
    .
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
    CloudFormation
    or
    Terraform
    for provisioning and management.
  • Configure and troubleshoot
    networking components
    in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and security.
  • Administer
    Linux operating systems
    , including shell scripting (Bash) for automation.
  • Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using
    Git
    (Bitbucket).
  • Build, configure, and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    in
    Jenkins
    , ensuring smooth integration and deployment workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards using
    Prometheus
    and
    Grafana
    .
  • Administer and optimize
    PostgreSQL
    and/or
    MySQL
    databases, including schema design, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices for cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience with
    AWS cloud infrastructure
    (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in
    Infrastructure as Code
    using
    CloudFormation
    or
    Terraform
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    cloud networking concepts
    (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Load Balancers, VPN, Security Groups).
  • Strong Linux system administration skills with advanced
    Bash scripting
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Git
    version control and experience with
    Bitbucket
    workflows.
  • Experience designing and managing
    Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
    .
  • Strong background in
    Prometheus
    and
    Grafana
    setup, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Solid database administration experience in
    PostgreSQL
    and/or
    MySQL
    .
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Go for automation.
