About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our platform engineering team. In this role, you'll focus on backend automation, API testing, and building scalable test frameworks for our multi-domain platforms (food, grocery, liquor, and more). You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, high-performing, and reliable system releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for backend systems and APIs.
  • Perform API testing (REST/gRPC) using Rest Assured and related tools.
  • Execute mobile testing for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to deliver top-quality releases.
  • Lead and implement test strategies for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Continuously explore and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Selenium with Java.
  • Hands-on experience with API Testing and backend automation.
  • Exposure to mobile testing (Android/iOS).
  • Good understanding of Gradle build tools.
  • Familiar with Cypress (nice to have, not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and CI/CD tools.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹600, ₹800,000.00 per year
