Role: Associate – Investments, Operations & Compliance
We are looking for a high-caliber Associate to join our dynamic team in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. This is a full-time, in-person role working from our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role across client interface, operations, and compliance, supporting core business functions.
Key Responsibilities
A. Client Supporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their queries and providing timely support.
- Communicate portfolio performance updates, market insights, and investment strategy changes clearly and professionally.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, calls, and periodic reviews to ensure regular engagement.
- Assist in preparing client reports, presentations, and investment proposals tailored to client needs.
- Support the onboarding process of new clients, including documentation and compliance checks.
B. Operations
- Manage trade execution, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and portfolio data.
- Liaise with brokers, custodians, and service providers.
- Prepare client & regulatory MIS, assist in audit and reporting processes.
C. Compliance
- Ensure regulatory adherence (SEBI PMS, Insider Trading, AML/KYC, etc.).
- Help maintain compliance processes/documentation, monitor for breaches.
- Stay updated with evolving regulations impacting PMS and proprietary investment entities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, commerce, business, accounting, or related field (such as B.Com, BMS, BBA, MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, etc.).
- 1–3 years experience in investment management, finance, or a similar field
(Prior PMS/ AIF/ investment firm exposure or any finance related client-facing role preferred) - Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling.
- Knowledge of securities markets, investment products, and regulatory environment (esp. SEBI and capital markets).
- Attention to detail, process orientation, and willingness to multi-task.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
