Role & responsibilities

PPC Planning Manager (Angle/Channel/Flat)

Preferred candidate profile

Order Book Analysis & action plan for Overdue reduction- Monthly, Weekly and Daily.

Monthly and Weekly- Machine booking should be made and shared with Sales Team

Provide lead time of Manufacturing of new inquiry sent to Planner

Monthly- RM Planning on the basis of Overdue Order Book (Sales order n Line item wise) and Machine Booking. In case New order opened and Machine is lying idle then revise RM Planning should be submitted as and when required.

100% RM Planning should be on the basis of Sales Order - Line item wise.

RM Should be allocated 100% to Sales Order Line item on the basis of Penalty Customer, Partial FG, Priority Customer, and then to other Customers.

RM, WIP , FG stock Should be as per Norms.

Monthly - Production Planning to be made on the basis of Dispatch Plan after considering the Stock lying in FG n WIP. Priority on Penalty and Overdue Customer.

Four Shifts advance Production planning after considering all available resources and Capacity.

Production planning should be for - Machine wise n Process wise for Forging, Rolling, Polishing, Packing - Machine and Table.

Release of Work Order linked with Sales Order , Tracking of Work Order and production at each process, Make Sure 100% Entry at each process should match - Physical and SAP

Make sure Machines should be 100% utilised n due to planning no machine should be idle

Inventory control--RM,WIP & FG should be as per Norms

MIS Reports analysis and action plan on key issues

To coordinate with all production section heads for despatch as per commitment

Container Planning based on required filler material, Optimum utilisation of Container weight to avoid freight loss,

Customer Enquiry and delivery commitment analysis and improvement for reduction of lead time

To perform appraisals of direct reportees on time & to take care of required training to be provided.

To perform any other duties as assigned by management

Tool Planning - to be made on the basis of available Sales order after considering the lead time of tools n production planning

Packing items , Consumables Planning - to be made on the basis of available Sales order after considering the lead time of tools n production planning

GAP of Dispatch plan vs Actual

Unallocated list if any should be given to sales n SAP and Physical stock should match
