Role & responsibilities

Managing multiple MEP projects.

  • Ensuring there are minimal problems from the design to the delivery stage.
  • Using project management software,Autocad and word processing programs

to create MEP plans.

  • Preparing cost estimates for electrical,plumbing air conditioning,heating and

ventilation systems.

  • Overseeing the work of the project management team and ensuring

adherence to the project schedule.

  • Coordinating on-site work with architects,structural engineers and electrical

engineers.

  • Providing MEP system installation,Maintenance and technical advice to

service providers,supervisors and inspectors.

  • Inspecting,analysing and finding solutions for engineering issues related to

the MEP features.

  • Reviewing and evaluating the work of contractors,consultants and other

construction industry professionals.

  • Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure

they comply with the MEP design plan.

Making technical clarifications to resolve coordination issues and design

modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements.

  • Monitoring and maintaining on-site health and safety policies and explaning

the necessity of complying with these to the crew

  • Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure

compliance with regulations and project suitability.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E (Civil) or Mechanical University degree in Engineering.

  • Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated

with trade.

  • Construction procedures and practices.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
